Fellow member Jim Collins and I fish Hickory Creek on May 17, 2022.  We arrived at 9:30 am and fished to 3:30 pm.  The weather was hot but a nice breeze kept things relatively comfortable.  We only fished the main lake.  We caught a total of 10 bass.  Three of the bass were over 3 pounds; 6 were between 2 and 2.5 pounds and we culled one a little over a pound.  All of the fish were healthy and put up a nice fight.  Also caught 3 nice crappie.  The majority of the fish were caught around the dock area, but we did catch a few around the south bank.  We had a lots of nibbles all day, but the bite was not aggresive and it took some patience to get a fish hooked.  We had our best luck between 11 am and 2 pm.  Got a chance to chat with the owner before we left.  Overall, a very enjoyable day at Hickory Creek Ranch.
