Good thing I brought the 50 lb trushed motor!!! Got on the water at 7am and the wind was already blowing from the SW. It only let up from around 4-6 PM, then got stronger at 6 and had enough of it by 7PM. Took a long lunch break from noon to 3. Fished mostly from the pier to the dam due to the rough conditions on the north and shallow end of the lake. In spite of all of the above, still managed steady action throughout the time we were on the water. Lake is full and fairly clear for two feet. Weeds about two ft under surface. Wind made worm fishing tough but was the best bait. Mostly anchored and pounded an area then moved along while casting with the wind. My guest came up from Houston and had a great time. We both had a big one snap our lines. Good day but the wind wore us out.
