Had a great morning at Malouf with my guest. Great weather, barely any wind and 26 fish in the boat in 4 hours from 7-11.
Most were caught in the tree line in the middle of the lake on Lipless cranks and White Chatterbait with white Keitech trailer. Picked up a few around the grass line edges here and there on wacky senkos around the whole shoreline. One on a frog early.
Not quite a 100+ day, but still a blast as Malouf always seems to produce.

Brad, just got back from vacation and did a double take when I saw this 😁. Malouf is a consistent producer, we caught it right before a storm and the fish were more aggressive than I’ve ever seen anywhere outside of Mexico. Even in Mexico, I’ve never seen the TX rigged bite so turned on, it was rare to have an empty cast in and around the trees.
