Water is still murky and 8-10 in high. Caught 20 and lost 3-4, mostly on a weightless Fat Albert / Junebug and some on a hand crafted spinner with a gold Colorado, orange head and black/orange curly tail grub, and one on a Killer Bee while trying to fish my hat out of the water.  3 were dinks and 1 about 12 in, the rest were over 14 in.  A big improvement over recent years.

Dave,

Thanks for the compliments. This is another testament to good fish management. We have added tilapia each of the last two years, threadfin shad last year, fertilized the last two years, added a few brush piles and have removed about 150 fish of 16 inches and smaller each year. Please note this lake is a 16 inch and smaller lake and not 14 inch slot. There are lots of fish 16 to 17 inch in this lake. By removing some, I think we can move them to 18 to 20 inches over the next two years. Taking a 2.5 lb fish and moving it to 4 and 5 lbs.
