I have fished this lake ocasionally since i joined the club a few years back. It was always a good lake but very hard to fish. I fished there 3/18 and the lake looks renewed. It seems the drought killed off some of the moss that used to take over the lake, but left the reeds. Now that the rains came and brought fresh water into the lake, the access and fishing seemed better. I even noticed that since the water was so low in summer it allowed even some of the old willow sapplings to start growing again and are under water now. So even with the drought and then the rains it seems mother nature has been a blessing for this lake.
