As two new members and a guest who is considering becoming a member, we had a fun day at Malouf. We began about 6:15 and fished until 11:30. We caught several fish early on top water using Arbogast popper, spook, and tiny torpedo. Moving into deeper water, we picked up several on square bills and soft plastics. It was a great weather morning for June 17 and we enjoyed ourselves. We were a bit disappointed at the amount of hydrilla in the lake. Looking forward to becoming acquainted with some of the PWF members and already planning on which lake is next!

Welcome to the club! Glad it was a successful first outing!
As you probably know, clear water lakes with agro environments/sharper topo are going to have a fair amount of vegetation (Malouf/Beaver/Six-O) Some lakes have none/very little (Jordan/Bremmond/Triple J/Backside of Moon) but have lower water clarity. Beauty of PWF is you can find pretty much any environmental setup you like to fish!
