Finally got my pansy arse out of the air conditioning for a return engagement here.

Started with a frog at 6:45, with the temp at 70 and no wind. Couple of blow ups but didn't bring anything to the Bank.

Spent the rest of the morning throwing minnow type swim baits, senkos both trig and wacky, none of which worked. The only thing that did was, like last time, the weightless red rage tail craw.  You see some crawdad mounds along the edge of the lake, so perhaps the fish are used to eating them.  

Water was crystal  clear.  I could watch the smaller bass approach and take the rage tailI,, which was pretty cool.  I also  spotted a squadron of good sized grass carp, but they must be on a hunger strike, because there's an abundance of vegetation, which made it tough to fish deep.  Done by noon before it got hot.    

Still good to get back out there.
