I took my daughter and her boyfriend to Nix Ranch for some evening fishing and fished from 5pm to dark. Rain storm rolled in right when we got there but didn't stop them from catching nice bass and bluegill from the dock. Caught well over 15 and most were caught on a crank bait. While fishing from shore they consistently caught bass all over the lake and similiar story when fishing from the boat.  We were in the boat for maybe an hour and I anchored close to the humps. At dusk they were getting hits on nearly every cast and ended the day with a couple 4lbers and a nice 5lber caught from the dock.
