Are you kidding me? This weekend is the trifecta of bass fishing; we have light winds, 80 degrees and for the most part the spawn is in full force.  I fully expect this to be one of the best fishing weekends of the year. Winds over most of the State are 10 mph or less Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No wind excuses; get out and have some fun. For us, we will be attending the Bass Tech workshop in Athens this weekend and will have limited access to our computers. Please get your reservations in by Thursday and remember your directions and gate codes. Most of all, praise God and thank him for such beautiful weather during the spawn.

Bryan I hope so. I spoke with Tripp Snuggs who fished last week at San Saba and he stuck a fish that dwarfed his 10.25 lb fish he caught at Yates Place two weeks ago. Fished jumped and spit the bait out. Tripp has not slept since.  Love to hear about the giants at San Saba and wishing Tripp had landed that fish. Could you imagine a 10.25 and one much larger in the same month?
