Partnered with Ford Rhodes for the first time at Brushy Creek and he did much better than me. Look for his report. 
 

I fished from around 7AM until around 3PM and only caught two. I did miss 4. The normal patterns of rattle trap off the dam and a jerk bait in the deep water did not work. I did catch two using a weighted green with red flecks paddle tail and lost 4.  The lake level is still good and the weeds are not overwhelming. Water clarity was 3-4 ft.
