I fished from 4 to 8pm and caught a nice 2lbs on first cast from dock.  The bass were biting on anything aggressive. They seemed to shy away from Texas rig but still landed 1-2. White spinner and jitterbug were the most successful.  The wind really picked up making it a bit tough in the jon boat. However plenty of action along the weeds. Thick weeds on surface out to 10 feet from bank and then tapper off. 

I saw 3 x 1-2 lbs bass literally launch themselves 2 feet out of water in the deeper water.  I have never seen anything like it.  All in all, a great evening on the water.
