This is one of my favorite club lakes. Always good for a few in the 3-4 lb range.  I have been to this lake 5 or 6 times and I could not help but notice that there was zero aquatic vegetation this time.  Like...none.  A year ago it there was a solid ring of hydrilla all the way around...out 20 yards or so from the bank.  Now, instead, it is full or quite large carp.  Not sure if this was a deliberate management technique or they just washed in during a flood and took over...but they appear to have eaten most of the grass. Hopefully they are triploid.  Oh yeah… bass...there are still bass:).  Chartreuse ratl trap and Carolina rigged flukes worked well.  Wacky senko worked too...like it always does.
