First trip to a property was with my wife when we booked a stay at Rough Creek for our anniversary.  The accommodations were very nice, although pricey, but you get a very nice stay, excellent food, and a staff at the lodge that goes way out of their way to help you with whatever you need.  Anyways, we fished Tuesday evening and not really knowing this lake or where to fish it we still didn’t do bad considering the wind blew us around everywhere.  We ended up with 19 fish total, mostly around he 1-2 pound class but did catch one around 3.5 and one around 4.5.  All in all an excellent stay.  Caught them on a frog to pull thru the lily pads, wacky worms, and a hologram stick bait I put on at the end of the evening and wish I would have done sooner, they were killing it.
