Caught 7 total. 5 were within an hour of arriving in the morning. Fish were definitely feeding on baitfish in the shallow water but it was a matter of throwing on top of them. Could only get them to eat a spinnerbait (white 3/8 oz.) They would only swipe at a small 1.5 KVD square bill and I couldn’t get them to touch a fluke, they would just run away from it. Fished from 8A to about 2:30P. 2 culls and 5 others that were decent with the largest being 3.2 lbs. Got several swipes at the spinnerbait but I just was not throwing what they were looking for. Caught two on a jig just throwing around structure (which there’s plenty to choose from). Had a hard time finding the fish. The lake is beautiful and I really enjoyed my time on the water.
