Thanks to prior fishing reports I was able to easily find fish. The lake is low and water in good shape, I had no wind to fight. I fished the afternoon and struggled to catch anything the first two hours. The moon rose about 3 and I started catching. As reported the fish were on the marked brush piles. I caught them on every marker except the one nearest the dock.Near 5pm they turned on at the bank chasing bait. Ended the day with 17 total and only two under the slot. These fish are strong and mean. I also missed at least another ten including one VERY large bass that I had hooked for about 10 secs..I tried a spinnerbait, chatterbait and rattle trap and just caught one on the trap. Fun fall day in East Texas.
