Fry
With the 3rd wettest March in Waco’s history, Holmes looks to be in great shape for the forseeable future. The lake is 3 ft. from capacity and for the moment heavily stained. The day was cloudy and windy. I threw mainly a red/crawfish rattle trap, a perch swimbait, and a green/purple/gold bladed spinnerbait. Most of the fish I found were at the upper end in less than 2 ft. of water. All the fish were fat and healthy. Only a couple were less than 14” with 5 largest going 18-20”.
