My son and I went fishing for my birthday weekend and had a great time. It was a little windy to start with but it sat down and got really nice. The water level is still low but the lake is very fishable. The water was substantially more stained that Ive seen it. My son used Googan soft plastics such as craws, neds, worms and all of them worked well. I caught the majority of my fish on Googan Lil Banger crank bait. I threw a black and blue buzz bait right at dark and caught a nice 3 pounder. We caught 30 fish and 10 of them were returned, None over 3.5 pounds. All the fish were very healthy. Another beautiful day of fishing at Lago Escondido.
