Mike and I fished from noon until 5 on Sunday.  The weather could not have been better.  Air temp was high 60’s to low 70’s.  Partly sunny skies.  There was a pretty good south wind when we started out, but slowly died down over the afternoon.  Water temperature was 43 degrees and water clarity was maybe 2’.  We caught 12 quality fish.  The 5 biggest weighed a total of 26 lbs 1 oz.  Mike caught a 6 lb 6 oz & a 5 lb 15 oz and I caught a 5 lb 12 oz and two 4 lbs.  The other 7 were between 1 lb and 3 lbs. All the fish were fat.  What worked for us were a big swim bait and a ned rig.  All the fish were caught in deep water 10’ to 12’  out in the middle towards the dam.  Talked to I believe the owner when we arrived and on the way out.  Super nice guy  and very friendly.  A great way to spend the first day of 2023.  This is a property Mike and I will fish again.
