Mike and I fished from noon to 5.  It was pretty chilly most of the afternoon with partly cloudy skies and a wind out of the NW.  Water temperature was a bit of a surprise at 50-51 degrees.  Water claity was around 4’.  Lake level is down about 4’ but there is still plenty of deeper water to fish ranging from 10’ – 17 1/2’.  With the lake level down and the water clear, we really got a good look at a lot of the great structure the owner has added and as well as the humps.  Fishing was a bit tough, but we did catch 5.  The two biggest were 3 ½ lbs and the other 3 were a 1 ½ – 2 lbs.  A jerk bait and big swim bait in the deep water is what worked.  The concrete boat ramp was really nice for launching and recoverng our two small boats.  On the way out Mike & I had a nice conversation with Criag.  He is a great land owner and always fun to talk with.
