My wife and I fished Pecan Springs Ranch last Saturday AM – 1/7.

Caught 5 bass (1-2 lbs each).

Green pumpkins 2.5” swimbait and junebug senko on drop shot is all they were hitting.  Crankbaits, chatterbaits, jerk bait and TX rigs had no hits

The temp was about 55, partly cloudy and a steady wind.  The lake seemed to be in great shape overall, only about 2 feet down and easy to fish.  Boat ramp still seemed like it was capable of launching boats. There is little vegitation left but the lake has some markers for structure which helped a lot.

We fished just about the entire lake but found most success 1. on the bank between the boat ramp and the dock and 2. the far shore where the creek channel opens into the main lake

We loved the lake and are excited to get back out there next time we are in the area!
