Fished the afternoon of April 5 at this awesome property.  I know I’m not as experienced of a fisherman as many of you but experienced something that was new to me.  We hit the lake around 3 pm and to my surprise we got the most mid-afternoon action throwing top water poppers!  What fun we had watching our lures get devoured time after time.  In all my son and I caught 53 bass - 29 over 16”.  Biggest was around 4 1/2 lbs.  A couple were still full of eggs. We also caught several on lizards and and crank baits.  Can’t wait to head back to this property again!
