Reservation Number : 34866
Property Name : Cordo Lake
Reservation Date : 01/27/2023 All Day -
Total Fish/Sizes : One @ 14 inches
Lures Used : Suspended jerk bait, slow roll spinner, jig, square bill, a-rig, drop shot, lip-less crank

Access to the lake was fine, a little spongy due to recent rain, but did not have any trouble. The crushed stone ramp worked fine to launch my 1754SC Tracker Grizzly. I brought a young man turning 10 years old with me and spent quite a bit of time teaching him how to cast with both a spinning and baitcater reel. We only caught one bass that was approximately 14 inches long on a suspended jerk bait. We tried several different patterns but we weren't very successful, probably fishing too fast for a winter pattern. Water temp was 45 degrees Fahrenheit with rather clear water (up to 6 feet.) The lake is target rich offering docks, timber, grass, and cattails. Beautiful, but chilly, day fishing.

Welcome to the club Reece, hopefully your next outing is more fruitful.  Love seeing the young ones get out and learn, hopefully it won’t be long before he’s bringing in some big ones!
