Water stained, 51 degrees. Sunny and windy

Landed 10, all culled. Started the morning at 32 degrees. Wasn’t so bad until the wind cranked-up. Wind chill put it well into the 20’s, with very choppy water. Got into one good fish, but was fighting the oars at the time, and couldn’t get a hook set with only one hand. Was peeling out the drag, until it shook the jerkbait, and was gone. Never fails...the one that got away!
