We have decided to host our club fish fry at Cleburne Six O Ranch on Saturday April 21st.  Six O Ranch is a club favorite and has a centralized location.  They have a nice dock area, lots of bank fishing and still need a good number of fish harvested.

We have decided to offer this year’s fish fry for free!  PWF will provide a lunch, snacks and prizes.  The Event will get started around 10 a.m. and we’ll finish things up by 4 p.m.

PWF, along with the landowners of 6-0 Ranch, has been dedicated to improve this fishery through several lake management practices including harvesting, fertilizing and stocking forage fish.

With our member’s continued help, this lake will become a premier fishery in our club.

We hope you have the time to come out and join us for fishing, fellowship and fun at Cleburne Six O Ranch.  Contact the club office to reserve your spot.

Hey everyone,
If you have not attended this event in the past then you need to put this on your calendar for the 21st. This is a fantastic event put on by the club, Steve, Keri, and Brian will all be there including the land owner and maybe a few other surprise guests.

Steve and Keri host a great day of fishing, fellowship, and good eats,(come hungry) The fish fry is awesome!

SIX-O is a beautiful propery and the perfect location for this. Remember if you bring your boat, you cannot back trailers into this lake. They must be hand launched, but don’t worry, there will be plenty of help available. Brian will be happy to load all your gear and hook up your batteries and clean your fish for you.

Hope to see all of you there,
Don & Pat Nichols

My buddy and I attended the fish fry at Six-O Ranch on Saturday. We had an amazing time, the fishing was great, and the food and company was event better. We really had a great time meeting the staff and the members. I think we have convinced him to become a part of the club. I am looking forward to next years outing.

We managed to boat about 15 bass, 10 of which were harvested and donated to the excellent fish fry for everyone to enjoy! The 5 we released ranged from 16” to 17.5”. Most of the fish were landed on a top water popper and plastic worms in the morning with a few others hitting a LFT Magic Shad swimbait. After about 2pm the fishing slowed to a crawl with no takers. After the fry, we fished for about another hour or so and decided to load up.

We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the hospitality of the owners and the club. I had a chance to talk some lakes, lodging, and fishing with Steve and I can’t say enough about what a class act guy he is.

Thanks everyone for the great outing! Can’t wait to do it again!

Billy,

It was a blast. In my opinion the best one yet. We had a huge turnout with 38 people in attendance. Billy I enjoyed speaking with you and wish we had more time to chat.
