This was my favorite lake in the club for many years. I had my single best day fishing ever on this lake in 2016. We have fished this lake over 50 times since we joined Private Water fishing in 2011. We could consistently go out and catch a 30lb sack for years. About three years ago Rough Creek started spraying the Lily pads and the grass that would create mats in the water. Before then I would regulary see bass swimming around and life everywhere while fishing. Since the grass and pads are gone the lake has not fished the same. It has fished tough ever since. I fisheed from noon to 5:30 on Saturday and caught two fish on a swimbait. One four pounder and one two pounder. Rough Creek is a beautiful first class facility with a wealth of ammenities.
