You can see my post from 3/24 but I believe things have changed. The biggest bass I have caught at Clifton are either under the dock or the southwest corner (spillway)
So when you get there do not walk on dock but I usually cast a watermelon colored fluke. You will need to get them out fast as a lot of piping and it is very abrasive. Start fishing the dam with plastics. Work the spillway corner. Now as you move along west side try a weedless frog top water and have a fluke or tube ready if this miss the frog throw the fluke or tube. This area is lily pads so again get the out fast. Continue all the way to north end fishing both west and east bank with plastics watermelon or red shad. The biggest problem you can have will be the wind from the south as it can blow at this site. When it does stay behind the dam till sunset when wind dies down and top water bite picks up. You should have no problem in boating 25 to 50 fish. Once in a while I have hooked up a 10 to 15 channel cat. But I have caught 8 pounders under that dock. There is 25 feet of water under it. One of my favorite sites, enjoy.
