Member Michael Smith and I fished Saturday (3/11) from 8:30AM-3:30PM at the pituresque Bennett Lake.  We caught fish steadily all along without any real slowdown.  The weather was perfect with slight winds most of the day with a period of period of gust from 11:30-2:00.  The bass were mostly in the 13”-17” range with a dozen or so above that range and almost none under that.  The dogwoods were on display and the eagles, hawks and hogs were all over the lake and surrounding hillsides.  The water was clear as always here but the weeds and other vegetation was much reduced and made fishing very pleasant and accesible over the whole lake.
