A guest and I fished Meridian Reed Sunday. The new boats are great. A little tough to fish down-wind, as Don noted in his report. But still a great platform to fish from. The property is beautiful, bluebonnets everywhere. We were very fortunate with storms to the north and south but completely missing the property. We fish all day and got into lots of fish. They were stacked tight along the banks, mostly on the edge of the grasses all around the lake and the brush piles in the north fork of the lake. No giants but plenty of quality fish.
