I fished from 1:30-7:00 on Saturday 3/25.  The water color was great and the fish were very active.  I caught lots of fish with very good size to most of them.  The average fish size was well over 2 pounds with the vast majority being in the 2-5 pound class with a couple bigger and a couple smaller.  I initially got to the lake at 10:15AM and realized I forgot my trolling motor (ouch) i tried to fish without it and couldn’t buck the wind and still fish, I also thought about juist fishing from the bank.  In the end i drove 75 miles back to the house and returned with my trolling motor.  Funny thing is that once I returned the wind had almost completely died.

This lake is one of the best bargains in the club.  It has a great and friendly owner, it is very pituresque and and is chock full of hungry bass!
