Fingerling
Fished today in windy, cool conditions early. The grass is now choking the two main creeks with a slime holding on every stump in less than 8 feet of water. Working back into those creeks fried my trolling motor battery by 5 p.m. Fish were hanging in shady pockets back in the creeks. Fighting the moss to get to those pockets proved our most productive pattern. Caught 41 overall with half a dozen breaking 3 lb. Water was deeply stained, 70-78 degrees. Love this property but it will get tough to fish as the grass takes over by summer.
