Got to the lake a little late, about 8:00am.  Beautiful clear day at a beautiful little lake. Started out about 60 degrees and got up to the low 70’s with a light wind.  Tried a whopper plopper from the bank with no takers.  Changed to a TRigged worm and caught the 6 #er in the brush right in front of the boat lunch. Launched the club boat and fished until noon.  Caught most of the fish on a TRigged cuttail worm and a couple on a junebug colored lizard mostly on the edge of the weeds on the bank opposite the launch site.  These were all great looking fat fish and hard fighters, even the smaller ones.  This little east Texas lake is a real jewel.
