I had fished this a month ago and caught most of my bass on a chatter bait and crank. They were having none of that today. Almost all the fish were up in the muck. Good size as probably 10 of those were over 3lbs. But…. I had to go weightless and throw up into the slimy muck. Either I got a bass or slimed. Why I went weightless. I did catch a few on a paddle tail mainly late. Once I had landed a a weightless sinko in the muck and then hopped it over into water and a bass came out of the muck and hit it like a top water. Pretty fun to watch. Also caught this humpback bass. Never seen one this deformed.
