Great time at the Hat and Star with my daughter. Didn’t have any luck with size, but the cold front that came thought the night before probably got us. Cabin was fantastic!! Boat ramp was great for my 19’ fiberglass boat. Property is well maintained. Can tell there are some big ones in there, we just didnt get it done this trip. Threw a variety of tx rigged plastics in all colors, but bite was slow. Most success was on paddletail swimbaits in bluegill color pattern. We will have to come back and try again to get some better size. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend Hat and Star.
