Had a good half-day at Rock Chimney Sunday AM.  Was on the water from 7a til about 11:45, with a short break around 10.   Very windy out of the north mad it challenging to reallly fish the south side.  I did have a trolling motor and used the club Jon boat, which is in great shape.  I didn't have much luck early, tried a variety of lures near shore.  Finally caught one on a gold/orange rogue, my standby, about 10’ off a point just west of the boats.   Caught a couple more as I blew down the dam.  Then started tossing a silver rat-l-trap at the dam and first cast caught a nice one.  Caught the majority of my 11 on that lure at the dam.   Biggest was 3.5 lbs, most around 2-2.5, lost 1 that was likely 5 lbs; decided to spit it in my face after a fight!   All fish fought hard.   Property is beautiful!   I can't wait to go back on a calmer day.  Thank you to the property owner for allowing the club to borrow your lake!
