An 11 pounder was caught a couple of days before our trip, however we didn’t have anywhere close to that luck. The lake is full and the grass is still below the surface. The majority of our fish came off of wacky worms with a few coming off of crank baits, TX rigs, or chatterbaits. Amost all of our fish were in the 12” or below range with a few being 13”. Of 58 fish we caught only we returned one over 14”. The fish we harvested some seemed healthy while other seemed so skinny. I don’t know much about pond/lake management but maybe upping the harvesting size to 16” may be benefital here. Couldn’t find any fish of size no matter how hard we tried.
