Members Bryan Durrett and Cortney Coe arrived at Reed Lake at around 8:30 am. The temperature had dropped from 73 degress to the mid 50’s from the time we left the house and arrived at the gate. It then started to rain off and on profusely until 11 or so..We waited at the house with the owners, Chris Reed,  until 11:30 AM and it was too wet to drive to the lake. We hand carried the battery and gear about a mile to the lake. We got some good exercise anyway.

Even with the serious front, we managed to catch about 40 or so. Largest was 4 ponnds-3oz. We had 3 doubles on Rattle Traps as we experiencwed some schooling fish out in open water. The largest fish came on the Rattle Trap. Most fiish were over 14 inches. We stopped about 4;00 under clear skys and light winds.

What a beautiful lake and property. Very nice boats, dock, wild flowers, big water…. I hate to see this one exit the club.I was blessed to fish it once anyway.

Keep your lines tight my friends….
