Fished Damon, Saturday from 2pm to 6PM with my Brother and Nephew who had never Bass fished before and do very little fishing for that matter. The wind was gusting 25 30 miles per hour causing the water to be dingy. We found a little corner that was fairly clear and caught about 25 really good fish and lost about half of that. We started with a white grubb with curly tail, some white swim baits and spinner baits with no success. We then used top water popper and top water frog and started a good run and then took about a 20 minute break and started with zoom frogs. Of all the fish we caught, only 2 were dinks. I caught one close to 22 inches and there were some 20’s and 21’s as well. The water is still low making the lake alot smaller but bank fishing is good.
