Today proved to be much like my last trip to Escondido; in a word – good.  I fished from 8:00am-1:00pm and landed 20 bass.  Half were above the 16 inch limit.  The largest was 2.5 pounds with most of the keepers around 1.5 pounds.  I used weighted and unweighted worms in midnight blue sparkle and green pumpkin.  I also caught several fish on H2O XPRESS swim baits in dull orange.  I caught fish in several parts of the lake but had no luck on the East side.  In my last two outings, I’ve caught numerous fish of various sizes between the boat dock and peer.  Escondido is a great property and I’ll be back.
