Angel Lake – A 6-Acre Gem with Heavenly Fishing

Experience a truly unique getaway at Angel Lake, aptly named for its angelic shape seen from above. Although it’s smaller than many other properties at just 6 acres, this lake offers an impressive population of solid 2.5 lb bass, plus occasional lunkers like the 9.5 lb beauty recorded in our electrofishing survey. You’ll also find some of the largest redear sunfish we’ve ever seen, adding to the lake’s rich variety of catches.

  • Well-Maintained Property: Enjoy easy bank fishing around a meticulously kept shoreline.
  • 10-Foot Jon Boat Provided: Launch directly from the bank or bring your own small craft to explore every corner of this angel-shaped lake.
  • No Pets Policy: Please remember that no dogs are permitted at Angel Lake.
  • Mandatory Bass Removal: Help us maintain a balanced fishery by removing all bass 14 inches and under and reporting your numbers via the online reservation system.
  • Parking: Please park on the main peninsula next to the boat launch, you may not drive around to other parts of the lake as there are low spots and you could get stuck.

  • Active Cattle Ranch: Please close all gates behind you.

  • No Dogs Allowed: Pets are not permitted at any club lake during your fishing reservation.

  • Mandatory Bass Removal: Remove all bass 14" and under, and report the total number removed through the online reservation system after your outing.

  • Parking: Please park on the main peninsula next to the boat launch, you may not drive around to other parts of the lake as there are low spots and you could get stuck.

  • No pets allowed at any PWF property.
