Ideal for New Anglers

This lake offers above-average fishing action, making it great for teaching young or less-experienced anglers.

Access this 12-acre lake through the new gate on County Road 2971, located about 10 miles east of Bonham and 2 miles west of Windom. Be aware that the entrance road is dirt/grass, and driving conditions can be challenging after rainfall—heavy rains are especially problematic.

Enjoy your day on the water, and please use caution when accessing the property after rain.

  • All bass 14 inches and under must be removed from this site.

  • Report the total number removed through the online reservation system after your outing.

  • Closed during Early Teal season.

  • Fishing is limited to PM only during duck season.
