Great fishing, easy access and close to the metroplex is what Lake TCU is all about. As you enter the electronic gate you will be greeted by bronzed deer and buffalo and will instantly notice how impeccably maintained the grounds are kept.

The lake is relatively shallow with most of the lake 6-8 feet deep with a few spots that are 12-13 feet deep. Currently, there is limited cover or brush piles and you are likely to find fish all over the lake. The lake boasts 3 islands and an insane amount of 3 to 4 lb fish. Our electrofish survey produced an eye-popping number of solid fish that were likely the fattest fish we have shocked in years.

A 14-foot jon boat is provided and maybe a bit heavy for some to flip over if you are fishing alone. If you are bringing your own boat please note that most of the perimeter of the lake drops off quickly so you likely will not need to back your trailer in very far. We would NOT recommend boats larger than 16 feet.

Please do not take the lid off the fish feeder to feed the fish. We have lost lids. Lost lids cost money and if it rains ruin $ worth of fish feed. Thanks for your understanding.

Requirements

MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14" and under at this site. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.

Take all trash with you. Clean boat of all trash including your used soft plastics.
