  • Unique Arm & Channel: A long arm stretches several hundred feet into two dry creek mouths, featuring a 5–7 foot channel ideal for fishing.

  • Varied Depths: Depths range up to 12 feet on the cliff side, offering diverse opportunities to land your next catch.

  • Rugged Access: A small SUV or higher-clearance vehicle is recommended for the 2.7-mile drive; a usually dry stream bed could hold water after significant rainfall (no 4WD needed, just drive carefully).

Camping & Amenities

  • Primitive Camping: Enjoy true outdoor living. There’s a single 110V outlet for limited electrical needs.
  • Seasonal Restrictions:
    • Duck Season: Fishing is PM (afternoon) only.
    • Hunting Season: Camping is unavailable during this time.

Requirements


  • Mandatory Bass Removal: Remove all bass 14" and under. Report total numbers of each species removed via the online reservation system.

  • Gate Etiquette: If gates are closed, close them behind you. If they’re open, leave them open. This is an active cattle ranch.

  • Speed Limit: Drive no faster than 20 mph on ranch roads. In the barn/work yard area, be especially cautious and courteous.

  • Campfire Safety:

    • Firewood Only: Burn only wood (without nails) and ensure no trash or other materials are left in the fire.

    • Extinguish Completely:

      1. Let firewood burn to ashes if possible, or spread embers evenly.

      2. Slowly pour water over embers to wet all ashes and surrounding ground.

      3. Stir ashes with a stick or shovel to cool the entire fire pit.



    • Compliance: Failure to follow these rules may result in termination of membership or stay.




General Directions

1.5 hours North of downtown Dallas or downtown fort worth 45 minutes from the mid cities 30 minutes from Denton Speed limited to 20 mph on ranch roads. Please drive slowly through the barn/ work yard area, be cognoscente of your surroundings and drive courteously.
