Nestled near Athens, Texas, White Bison Lake is a stunning 8-acre body of water surrounded by rolling pastures and mature hardwoods. With depths reaching up to 14 feet, the lake offers prime bass fishing conditions in a quiet and secluded setting.

Fishing Highlights:

Fish Stocking:
White Bison Lake is professionally managed and stocked with Florida-strain largemouth bass and bluegill, creating an ideal environment for both numbers and trophy-class bass.

Catch Potential:
Members can expect steady action with bass commonly in the 2 to 5-pound range, and larger catches in the 6 to 8-pound class not uncommon. The lake is known for its healthy population and consistent bite throughout the year.

Fishing Access:
Bank fishing is available around most of the lake, and a mini-aluminum pontoon boat is provided for member use, giving anglers access to deeper water and the lake’s best structure and cover.

Limited Pressure for Better Fishing:
To maintain the lake’s exceptional quality and protect the largemouth bass population, fishing will be limited to just once a week or four times per month.  This controlled schedule helps ensure long-term sustainability and keeps the action strong for every trip.

A two-adult minimum is required to fish.

A full-day reservation is required to fish this lake.

Requirements

• Mandatory Fish Removal: Remove all bass 14 inches and under, as well as all crappie. After your outing, report the total number of each species removed through the club's online reservation system.

• Harvest Report: Complete the Harvest Report located on the website after you leave.
