NOTE - there is another landowner that owns part of the lake (you can see the fence line) and they are now starting to use the lake more often.  While still not likely, it is possible someone else could be fishing the lake while you are there.

  • West Lake (12 acres): Home to the largest bass ever caught on the property (14 lb 6 oz), and the lake most likely to yield double-digit catches

As you enter the gate, you’ll be greeted by a quarter-mile of blooming pear and crepe myrtle trees—a stunning welcome to your fishing adventure.

On-Site Boat Information

  • Although the 15-foot jon boat (with seating, hand-control trolling motor, and battery) is normally included in your reservation, it is temporarily unavailable at this time.

  • If you do end up using the jon boat in the future, the seats can be found in the trash can by the launch.

  • No on-site lodging, but Henderson is just 6 miles away, offering several hotel options (including Holiday Inn Express).

Trolling Motor Tips

  • If you’re unfamiliar with bow-mounted, hand-control trolling motors, reach out to the club office for guidance on setup and use.
  • If the motor loses power, it may mean one battery is drained; simply switch the red dial from “1” to “2” or vice versa to continue fishing.

  • Gate Access: The electric gate will not open until 5:30 AM. If you have an AM or all-day reservation, you cannot enter before 5:30 AM.

  • Boat Status: On-site boat is currently unavailable.

  • Advance Notice: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to fish this site.

  • Trolling Motor Assistance: If you’re unfamiliar with bow-mounted, hand-control trolling motors, call the club office for tips.

  • Mandatory Bass Removal: Remove all bass 16" and under and report the total number removed through the online reservation system after your outing.
