This is an active cattle ranch with likely the tastiest beef cattle on the market today. HeartBrand Ranch is the largest producer of Wagyu beef in the United States. Technically calling these Akaushi (Japanese) cattle, Wagyu is incorrect as Wagyu Beef must come from Japan. However, these Akaushi cattle are what is often sold as Wagyu beef in the U.S. And this ranch is producing their very own superior brand of Wagyu called HeartBrand. You can find the HeartBrand brand beef at hundreds of fine dining establishments, meat markets and some grocery store chains like Kroger.

Depending on the time of the year you will likely see hundreds of Akaushi cattle while you are fishing this 20-acre lake. Yes, the cows are curious and may find time to spend time in or around the lake with you. Much of the lake is 2-4 feet deep but there is plenty of water that is 6-12 feet deep. The lake is full of forage including golden shiners, threadfin shad, and lots of bluegill. There is a healthy population of bass from dinks to bass over 7 lbs. Water clarity typically varies from 1 foot to 3 feet depending on rain and the time of the year.

There is a 14-foot jon boat for members to use. This boat is heavier than most of our jon boats and may require two people for some members. There is a fishing dock near the boat launch area that you are welcome to use.

The roads are all weather very well-maintained roads and there is a rock ramp perfect for launching virtually any size bass boat; especially if you have 4WD.

This lake has a healthy population of 3 to 8 lb. channel catfish that you may keep.

NOTE: THERE IS A MAIN GATE AND A NEW SECOND GATE TO THE LAKE, THE MAIN GATE HAS A COMBO LOCK AND THE GATE TO THE LAKE IS AUTOMATED WITH A KEYPAD, THE NUMBERS FOR BOTH ARE IN THE GATE CODE AREA OF YOUR CONFIRMATION. YOU WILL NEED TO PUSH THE BLACK BUTTON BEFORE THE GATE TO EXIT THE LAKE GATE.

Most of the time the front gate will be open, but we have provided you with a combination for the combination lock. IF YOU ARE LEAVING AFTER 5:00 PM, please be sure to close and lock the gate behind you. Even if you found the gate open when you arrived.

We are NOT harvesting bass in 2024

Take all trash with you. Clean boat of all trash including your used soft plastics.

You may keep all Crappie and Catfish.
