160 acres of heaven is just 1 hour SW of OKC. Yes, 160 acres of water on this massive Oklahoma ranch. The lake boasts 2 boat ramps capable of launching full size bass boats. Most of the lake is 6-7 foot deep but there are channels that are 9-10 feet deep throughout this soil conservation lake. There is approx. 50 acres of open water in front of the dam that is is 15-20 feet deep.

During our electrofish survey we found loads of large healthy bass throughout the lake. The lake is also full of crappie. In the summertime expect many of these fish to be suspended at thermo cline in about 6-12 foot of water near the dam.

Currently there is not an all weather road for the 1.25 mile drive to the lake. However, much of the road is just fine even in slightly wet weather. The last 2/10 of a mile to the lake is currently just a path through the field and perfictly fine in dry weather. We will be working towards a rock road for the final 2/10 of a mile over the next year.

Side note, members coming from DFW and points south, will likely pass through the sleepy town of Elmore City. Why is this notable? The 1984 cult classic movie, Footloose was inspired from this community. Let us know if you see Kevin Bacon on your way through.

We are not harvesting bass or bluegill, but you may keep all the crappie and catfish you catch.

There is an older 12-14 foot jon boat for members to use. However, on a lake this big, we recommend your own boat. Bring an extra battery as you would not want to be stranded in a lake this size.
